The Muddy Road
After watching every episode of Fargo I indulge in finding the meaning of the title. I happened to know some of the paradox and koans and they entice me. Just the other day I spent an hour thinking about ‘The Muddy Road’. The koan enlightens us by telling the importance of letting go.To sum it up the monk helps a pretty girl cross the river and later his student ask him how he did so! What I really wonder is how does one decides the righteousness! And is there anything that’s beyond measurable? Like any other thought it reminds of Rumi’s quote - “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”
