Exceptions of proximity
The principle of proximity states that things that are close together appear to be more related than things that are spaced farther apart.
Does this principle apply to everything? everyone? How naive of us to deny the exceptions of this principle. That sometimes objects that are closer to each other maybe unrelated. But the human eye never fails to perceive connection between them. And when we look around us, we might find many exceptions. What about things that are tied together forcefully or just happened to be together accidentally.
