Blinded by the brighter side
How many times we must have overlooked all the flaws and cons just because we chose to look at the other way. Yes, the sluggish cynical inside me has chosen to speak today. Why do we choose to put our blindfolds on if we the dismal reality keeps poking us. Because sometimes we are blinded by the brighter side. We miss out on the thought that the light at the end of the tunnel might as well be a mirage.
I happened to come across the song 'Bruises' by Lewis Capaldi. And the heading which I have used got stuck in my mind. But the song and this write up aint connected otherwise since this one has nothing to do with past lovers but just another pessimistic rant.
